    This study introduces Re-index Free Lifelong person Re-Identification (RFL-ReID) to avoid costly re-indexing of historical data. The proposed Bidirectional Continuous Compatible Representation (Bi-C²R) framework enables efficient lifelong person re-identification without re-indexing.
