Mother-Child Biobehavioral Synchrony and Its Association With Social Functioning in Autistic School-Aged Children

Parent-child physiological synchrony, or respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) synchrony, was linked to better pragmatic language skills in autistic children. This suggests that coordinated physiological and behavioral synchrony may support social development in autistic children.
