Summary

Human Leukocyte Antigen-E (HLA-E) gene polymorphism and soluble HLA-E (sHLA-E) levels are linked to colorectal cancer (CRC) in Tunisian women. Lower HLA-E*01:01 frequencies are associated with CRC, while HLA-E*01:01 carriers show reduced survival in female patients.
