Abstract:
Networking is essential for career success and academic promotion. However, clinician educators may find the process of developing a network daunting, and struggle to establish the strong and weak ties that are necessary components of a robust network. In this article, we outline specific strategies that clinician educators can easily employ to develop relationships which are meaningful, reciprocal, and supportive. Clinician educators who use these strategies will be able to create diverse networks that can help them achieve their career goals.
