Background:

Digital health transformation presents complex, multifaceted barriers.
Understanding these barriers is crucial for successful implementation in healthcare systems.
Previous research has not systematically organized these challenges.

Purpose of the Study:

To identify and elucidate the relationships among barriers to digital health transformation.
To develop a comprehensive model for understanding these obstacles.
To provide insights for effective digital health strategy development.

Main Methods:

Utilized Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and Cross Impact Matrix-Multiplication Applied to Classification (CIM) for analysis.
Conducted a brainstorming session with 3 nursing researchers to identify 11 key barriers.
Mathematically processed barrier elements to construct a hierarchical structural diagram.

Main Results:

Identified 11 distinct barriers to digital health transformation.
