Ultrasound elastography for pneumothorax diagnosis: beyond the elasto-lung point.

Two-dimensional shear-wave elastography (2D-SWE) confirms the elasto-lung point sign for pneumothorax detection. However, 2D-SWE cannot differentiate pneumothorax from healthy lung when the lung point is absent.
