Summary

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) increases genioglossus and geniohyoid muscle stiffness, not thickness. Geniohyoid muscle stiffness correlates with OSA severity, suggesting these stiffness changes are potential noninvasive markers for OSA.
