Abstract:
This article presents qualitative research, conducted in partnership with patient-partners-researchers, which examined the impact of peer support in oncology from the perspective of patients who benefited from it. Based on the verbatim accounts collected, this text shows how patient-partners play an important supportive role that complements the work of healthcare teams.
