Purpose:
We describe a simple and reproducible outpatient technique for managing auricular seroma using aspiration, intralesional triamcinolone acetonide (2.5 mL), and external compression with either a silicone sheet or a button.
Methods:
By combining complete aspiration, steroid deposition to reduce inflammatory recurrence, and tailored compression to obliterate the potential space, we achieved reliable resolution in our patients.
Results:
In our experience, this method is efficient, minimally invasive, inexpensive, and preserves auricular contour. This technique uses easily accessible materials and is well tolerated.
Conclusion:
This technique offers a practical solution for routine ENT practice.
