Background:

Hypospadias repair aims for functional and cosmetic penile restoration.
Outcomes are influenced by the chosen surgical technique.

Purpose of the Study:

To compare the long-term outcomes of different primary hypospadias repair techniques.
To evaluate functional and cosmetic results, as well as complication rates.

Main Methods:

Prospective, multicenter cohort study of 180 patients (6 months - 7 years).
Follow-up for at least 2 years post-primary hypospadias repair.
Assessment of urinary stream, cosmetic appearance, and complications.

Main Results:

Tubularized incised plate (TIP) repair demonstrated superior cosmetic outcomes (92% parental satisfaction).

Onlay flap technique had a lower complication rate (6.7%).

Bracka repair, used for proximal hypospadias, showed acceptable results but higher complications (15%). Functional outcomes were similar across techniques.
