Maternal diabetes and being born large for gestational age (LGA) increase the risk of adult-onset multiple sclerosis (MS). Conversely, being born small for gestational age (SGA) is associated with a lower risk of MS. These findings highlight potential prenatal influences on MS susceptibility.
