Abstract:
Developing non-noble metal-based electrocatalysts with high activity and selectivity is crucial for achieving efficient nitrate reduction to ammonia. Herein, a Cu-CoP3 catalyst was synthesized by a one-step electrodeposition method. When performed in alkaline solution, the as-fabricated Cu-CoP3 achieved an impressive NH3 yield rate of 6.33 mmol h-1 cm-2, and a high NH3 faradaic efficiency of 99.1% at -0.4 V vs. RHE.
