The adaptive proximal scaphoid implant (APSI) effectively treats scaphoid proximal pole avascular necrosis, significantly reducing pain and improving wrist function long-term. This pyrocarbon implant offers stable integration and prevents carpal collapse in high-demand patients.

Background:
