Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the clinical spectrum of infections among people who inject drugs (PWID).
  • To specifically assess the prevalence and characteristics of infective endocarditis (IE) in this population.

  • Participants included people who inject drugs (PWID) recruited from inpatient and outpatient departments.
