Background:

  • Orthokeratinized odontogenic cysts (OOC) are rare developmental jaw cysts.
  • Previously classified as an orthokeratinized variant of Odontogenic keratocyst (OKC).
  • OOC exhibits distinct clinical and histological characteristics compared to OKC.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To report a case of multiple OOC.
  • To emphasize the diagnostic criteria differentiating OOC from OKC.
  • To discuss the clinical significance of multiple OOC occurrences.

Main Methods:

  • Radiographic evaluation of jaw lesions.
  • Histopathological examination of cyst epithelium and contents.
  • Clinical assessment of patient history and presentation.

  • A 34-year-old male presented with multiple radiolucent jaw lesions.
