Celiac disease (CeD) is a multisystem autoimmune disease secondary to ingestion of gluten in genetically predisposed individuals. A precise and early diagnosis is essential for its effective and timely management. For comprehensive management of patients with CeD, there is a need for noninvasive biomarkers for screening of patients, prediction of enteropathy, and monitoring of patients for adherence to the gluten-free diet. The modern-day tools including transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic methods allow development of various biomarkers, which reflect changes in the immunological profile. In the present article, we have discussed the conventional and the novel biomarkers in relation to CeD.

Blood Studies for Cardiovascular System I: Cardiac Biomarkers
The essential diagnostic tools for detecting myocardial necrosis and monitoring individuals suspected of having acute coronary syndrome (ACS) include:
Troponins
Troponins, particularly cardiac troponins I and T, are the most precise and sensitive markers of myocardial injury. They are detectable within 4-6 hours of myocardial injury and remain...
Inflammatory Bowel Disease II: Crohn's Disease
Inflammatory bowel disease, commonly known as IBD, refers to a collection of disorders that lead to persistent inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. The two types of IBD are ulcerative colitis, which impacts the colon, and Crohn's disease, which can involve any part of the gastrointestinal segment.
