Relationship between epicardial adipose tissue and coronary function evaluated with [13 N]NH3 PET/CT

Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) volume and thickness are linked to reduced myocardial flow reserve (MFR). Increased EAT is an independent predictor of impaired MFR, suggesting EAT influences coronary function.

- Epicardial adipose tissue volume is correlated with impaired myocardial flow reserve.
- EAT may play a significant role in influencing coronary function.
- EATvol is an independent predictor of MFR, highlighting its clinical relevance in cardiovascular assessment.
