  • Farm size and PRRS status are significant factors influencing reproductive performance.
  • Specific management practices, including hygiene before insemination and farrowing pen management, play a role in productivity.
  • Traditional strategies like temperature evaluation and routine antimicrobial/hormonal treatments showed limited relevance, suggesting a need for further investigation into novel factors affecting sow reproductive success.
