Acinetobacter baumannii Causing Complex Parapneumonic Effusion in a Community-Living Immunocompetent Host: A Case

This case report details a rare community-acquired pleural effusion caused by Acinetobacter baumannii. Prompt identification and treatment with antibiotics and drainage led to a full recovery.
