Planetary health, understood as the achievement of the maximum level of health, well-being and equity, respecting the limits of the planet's natural systems, is a concept that has acquired great relevance, given the context of climate and environmental emergency in which we find ourselves. Knowing the impact of our lifestyles on the health of the planet will provide us with additional arguments that can motivate individuals and populations to opt for more sustainable and healthy choices. As specialists in Family and Community Medicine and thanks to the continuous presence of prevention and health promotion in Primary Care, we have the opportunity to advise patients on the benefits and importance of their daily choices in improving their own health and the environment.
