Müller-Weiss disease (MWD) is a rare condition characterized by idiopathic compression of the lateral part of the navicular bone. Patients with MWD often complain of midfoot pain. Operative management is considered when conservative management fails. For symptomatic patients with advanced disease, isolated talonavicular joint arthrodesis, talonaviculocuneiform arthrodesis, and triple arthrodesis with or without naviculocuneiform arthrodesis are viable options. Arthrodesis can be performed open or arthroscopically. With the increasing incidence of MWD and the rising popularity of minimally invasive surgery, exploration of the role of MIS in MWD is timely. Deformity correction can be supplemented by "closing-wedge" procedure or percutaneous osteotomy.
