None:
Müller-Weiss disease (MWD) is a clinical entity, the etiology of which remains incompletely understood. Dorsoplantar and lateral weight-bearing radiographs are the first line of imaging in suspected MWD. A widely used staging system, proposed by Maceira and Rochera in 2004, describes the progressive changes occurring in this condition and is based on lateral weight-bearing plain radiographs. Radiographic staging does not correlate directly with clinical symptoms. Computed tomography (CT) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)-CT can be used to evaluate which joints are actively involved in the process and guide selective corrective arthrodesis of these joints.
