With over 2000 peer-reviewed articles, 81 elite journal publications, and a remarkable H-index above 200, Rinaldo's academic contributions helped shape international definitions of acute kidney injury and sepsis, advanced critical care nephrology, and guided fluid resuscitation practice worldwide.
