This study establishes normal ranges for technetium-99m mebrofenin hepatobiliary scintigraphy (HBS) liver function indices. The mebrofenin liver uptake rate normalized to body-surface-area (MURBSA) is approximately 8.0±1.5 %/min/m², with a lower limit of normal at 5.1 %/min/m².
