Summary

Pectoral nerve blocks (PECS) significantly reduce postoperative pain and opioid use in breast cancer patients. These blocks improve recovery by enhancing pain control and decreasing nausea and vomiting.

They play a valuable role in multimodal analgesia by reducing opioid requirements and promoting patient recovery.
Further research may explore long-term effects and optimal techniques.
