Children born extremely preterm (EPT) face significant challenges, including higher rates of neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDDs), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by age 12. Multimorbidity and behavioral issues are also common, requiring ongoing multidisciplinary care.
