Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the efficacy of Flat Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) for treating male stress urinary incontinence (SUI) post-RP.
  • To assess the impact of FMS on quality of life using the IIQ-7 questionnaire.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective analysis of 40 male patients with SUI after RP.
  • Patients received eight FMS sessions.
  • Incontinence Impact Questionnaire-Short Form (IIQ-7) scores were recorded at baseline and 3 months post-treatment.

Main Results:

  • Significant reduction in IIQ-7 median scores from baseline (71.35) to 3 months post-treatment (28.54) (p < 0.05).
  • All individual questionnaire items showed improvement.
  • No adverse events were reported during the treatment period.

Conclusions:

  • Flat Magnetic Stimulation (FMS) is a safe and effective treatment for SUI following radical prostatectomy (RP).
  • FMS offers a convenient and alternative therapeutic option for patients suffering from post-prostatectomy incontinence.
