Incidental Adnexal Lesions: CT Diagnosis and Interreader Agreement

Computed tomography (CT) accurately diagnoses dermoids, malignant ovarian lesions, and simple cysts. However, other adnexal lesions pose diagnostic challenges, with a significant rate of misclassifying malignant lesions as benign.

- Diagnosing other adnexal lesions using CT remains challenging, with a notable tendency to misclassify malignant lesions as benign.
- Further research and improved CT interpretation guidelines are needed for challenging adnexal lesions.
