  • An interdisciplinary team developed a 14-item digital questionnaire using validated instruments.
  • Patients accessed the tool via QR codes, with results automatically transferred to the hospital information system.
  • Supportive care requests (SCRs) were automatically generated based on screening results.

Main Results:

  • Over 4,900 valid questionnaires were analyzed, generating 3,324 SCRs.
  • Digital screening identified needs in 22.4% for psycho-oncology, 18.7% for nutrition, and 27.6% for palliative care.
  • Screening rates were maintained or slightly improved compared to previous methods.

Conclusions:

  • Implementing digital supportive care screening is feasible and effective in a Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC).
  • Addressing digital access barriers is essential for equitable supportive care delivery.
