Abstract:
In order to explore, according to Katharine Kolcaba's theory, the impact of distraction techniques on the comfort of hospitalized children aged 2 to 6, research was conducted among professionals working in pediatric wards. The results demonstrated that these personalized methods, which allow parents to be involved, have an effect on the physical, psychospiritual, sociocultural, and environmental aspects of comfort. They reduce pain and anxiety in hospitalized children, encourage cooperation, and improve the hospital experience.
