Objectives:
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of screening for osteoporosis with bone mineral density (BMD) measurement for the prevention of osteoporotic fractures in adults with risk factors for fractures, compared with no BMD screening.
