This review article discusses the use of technology to enhance treatment outcomes for eating disorders (EDs). We discuss how technology has been used across the spectrum of ED care, evaluate the evidence base for existing technologies in ED care, and address key ethical considerations in applications of technology to support individuals with EDs. Emerging topics in the field and anticipated challenges related to advancing technology and integrating modern tools into evidence-based ED care are also discussed.
