Summary

Sub-Tenon's triamcinolone acetonide (TA) injections were as effective as topical steroids for preventing inflammation after cataract surgery. Both "dropless" and topical steroid methods showed similar rates of intraocular pressure spikes, cystoid macular edema, and rebound iritis.
