Abstract
Introduction:
Today, child-psychology and special education are well known and fully established fields. The theoretical and practical approaches, including medical, psychological, educational and social aspects, change substantially over the years. One of the forgotten founders of these fields was one of Vladimir Bekhterev's pupils, Fishel Joshua Schneersohn (1888-1958).
