Multiple sclerosis (MS) optic neuritis (ON) causes peripapillary nerve fiber layer thinning, predominantly in the temporal quadrant. Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) reveals reduced peripapillary vessel density (VD) in MS, also favoring the temporal quadrant.
