Root resorption is a pathological process that can have many causes and various implications. The following case shows a patient with multiple advanced root resorptions. The clinical and radiological findings indicated replacement resorptions and cervical resorptions. Histological examination of one of the extracted teeth showed nonspecific findings with no evidence of replacement resorption. The cause of the resorption in this case remains unclear, although a possible connection with testosterone deficiency is being considered.
