Home electrocardiogram telemonitoring for post-acute myocardial infarction care: a randomized controlled trial

- While the intention-to-treat analysis showed no significant benefit, the per-protocol analysis suggests that appropriate use of the SmartHeart ECG device, coupled with telemedicine support, can optimize emergency department utilization for AMI survivors.
