Speech difficulties in children can impair communication, social development, and academic success, often contributing to anxiety. This case report highlights a novel approach combining therapy with hypnosis, patient-recorded videos, and formative physician feedback to improve a child's speech clarity and confidence. In this report, a nine-year-old girl with longstanding articulation difficulties participated in hypnosis sessions and created cooking demonstration videos. These videos served as tools for self-assessment and for receiving targeted physician feedback on speech pacing and clarity. Over several months, the patient demonstrated substantial improvement in articulation, fluency, and intelligibility, alongside self-esteem, and reductions in speech-related anxiety. She also gained confidence in social and academic communication. This case highlights the potential benefits of combining therapy with hypnosis and video-based formative feedback to support pediatric speech rehabilitation. The approach emphasized patient engagement, self-monitoring, and individualized feedback. Additional research is needed to evaluate the generalizability of this method in larger and more diverse populations.
