Beta-hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB) is a reliable biomarker for diagnosing diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), with urine β-OHB offering a rapid, non-invasive option. Copeptin levels did not effectively differentiate DKA patients from healthy individuals in this study.
