Functional Outcome After Surgery for Popliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome

Surgical management of popliteal artery entrapment syndrome (PAES) significantly improves quality of life and maintains arterial patency long-term. However, return to pre-symptomatic athletic levels remains challenging for many athletes.

- Popliteal artery entrapment syndrome (PAES) is a rare vascular disorder affecting young, active individuals, particularly athletes.
