Abstract:
At present, certain varieties within Qinghai Province's "Eighteen Qing Yao" still predominantly rely on scarce wild resources for the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) herbs. The harsh climatic conditions of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau further exacerbate the challenges, leading to a shortage of supply. In order to solve the problems of production zoning and industrial layout of "Eighteen Qing Yao" in Qinghai Province, this study utilized advanced geostatistical analysis techniques, such as exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA), trend surface analysis, spatial autocorrelation analysis, the maximum entropy model(MaxEnt), and the geographical detector, to dissect the spatial distribution richness of these species. It delved into the interplay between these resources and natural factors, identified optimal distribution zones for wild medicinal resources within the "Eighteen Qing Yao". This approach facilitated the scientific delineation of production zoning for the "Eighteen Qing Yao" under the national policy of "non-grain", which is of paramount importance for the conservation, sustainable utilization, as well as development of the "Eighteen Qing Yao" resources in Qinghai Province.
