Researchers developed centimeter-scale, elastic 2D molecular crystals of 2,7-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-9H-fluoro-9-one (BMeOPhFO). These flexible crystals show promise for 2D flexible optoelectronic applications, including organic light-emitting diodes.
