Time-domain waveform recovery for integrated optical waveguide pulse electric field sensors
None:
In practice, the measured pulse electric field time-domain waveforms of integrated optical waveguide electric pulse field sensors tend to be distorted due to their non-ideal low-frequency frequency response. As for this issue, a time-domain waveform recovery method based on system identification is proposed in this paper. A step signal, lightning electromagnetic pulse, and square wave signal are applied to validate the effectiveness and adaptability of the proposed method. The correlation coefficients of 0.99, root mean square errors of 0.05-0.17, and pulse width errors of 1-4% between the input waveform and the recovered waveform are achieved for the three cases, respectively.
