Abstract:
As a crucial hematopoietic and immune organ in the human body, the bone marrow has a complex niche structure. Under pathological conditions or the influence of special environments, damage to the bone marrow microenvironment can lead to hematopoietic dysfunction and immunodeficiency. Currently, translational research in hematology often relies on immunodeficient mouse models. However, these models frequently can not effectively transplant various diseased cells from patients. In recent years, human bone marrow organoid technology has developed rapidly, showing great application potential in blood disease modeling, radiation-induced hematopoietic injury, drug screening, and bone-blood regeneration transplantation. This article mainly reviews the progress in bone marrow organoid construction technology and its application research in regenerative medicine, and explored its future development direction, providing an important reference for the development of regenerative medicine.
