Purpose:
The use of magnification tools, including loops, has become increasingly prevalent in endodontics to improve precision and outcomes. This study evaluates the efficiency of root canal treatment (RCT) performed using loops compared to conventional techniques.
Methods:
A clinical trial involving 100 patients was conducted, with participants divided equally into two groups: those treated using magnification loops and those treated conventionally. Treatment duration, procedural errors, and patient-reported satisfaction were assessed.
Results:
The loop-assisted group demonstrated a 25% reduction in treatment time and significantly fewer procedural errors (P < 0.05). Patient satisfaction scores were higher in the loop group compared to the conventional group.
Conclusions:
Magnification loops enhance the efficiency and accuracy of RCT, leading to better clinical outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.
