Abstract:
Calcified brain metastases (CBM), though rare and often under-recognized, occur mainly in pulmonary adenocarcinoma but may also arise from other cancers. Their formation is multifactorial, with CT as the reference for detection and MRI (SWI) providing complementary evaluation. Accurate differentiation from other calcified brain lesions is crucial, as CBM may reflect slower disease progression, illustrated by a post-radiotherapy case in a young patient.
