Abstract:
Perioperative holistic management in bariatric and metabolic surgery has evolved from conceptual consensus to an era of refined clinical practice and innovative care models. Anchored in a patient-centered philosophy, this paradigm integrates systematic evaluation, standardized clinical pathways, and personalized interventions to establish a seamless continuum of care spanning the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Future advancements must be underpinned by robust clinical guidelines and evidence-based medicine, prioritizing the continuous optimization of management protocols and long-term follow-up systems to ultimately ensure sustained patient health benefits.
