Castaño et al. reveal that mRNA-lipid nanoparticle vaccines employ a dual-adjuvant mechanism: nucleoside-modified mRNA triggers type I interferons to mature dendritic cells, while lipid nanoparticles induce a pro-T follicular helper cell program, together promoting robust germinal center responses.
