Guided bone regeneration (GBR) membranes, despite their commercial significance, often face limitations in antimicrobial efficacy and osteoinductive performance. To address this, we fabricate a chiral molybdenum disulfide quantum dot (CMoS2 QDs)-incorporated chitosan (CS)/nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp) bilayer membrane (CMQCH membrane) via solution-casting and freeze-drying. The unique bilayer architecture-featuring contrasting surface topographies-combined with the synergistic effect of CMoS2 QDs and nHAp, effectively promotes osteogenic cell migration and differentiation while suppressing bacterial growth. Systematic characterization confirms the CMQCH membrane possesses robust mechanical properties and a prolonged degradation profile. Importantly, the left-handed chiral microenvironment enhances the adhesion of rat bone marrow stromal cells (rBMSCs) via integrin signaling and confers superior antibacterial activity. Consequently, the CMQCH membrane achieves significantly enhanced bone regeneration in infected defects compared to commercial collagen membranes, offering a transformative GBR solution with high clinical translational potential.
