Total wrist arthrodesis or fusion (TWF) is a complex procedure that is indicated for advanced wrist arthritis. It is indicated for the management of advanced rheumatoid arthritis and posttraumatic arthritis such as scapholunate advanced collapse or scaphoid nonunion advanced collapse.
